Anton, an orphaned child, is being raised in a foster family along with his older brother. Since February 24, 2022, the family has not left the city and has experienced occupation, which has had a negative impact on the children's health. Anton started attending the Community Center almost from the day it opened. He has gaps in his education and struggles with reading comprehension. He can read syllables and words but doesn't fully understand their meaning. He relies on the teacher's assistance to retell the text. In writing, he makes many mistakes and often requires help. Mathematics is also challenging for him, and he relies on a number line to solve problems within 20. He knows the sequence of natural numbers from 1 to 100 but is not familiar with the entire multiplication table for numbers 2 and 3. During independent work, Anton requires adult assistance. Attending the Community Center has allowed Anton to expand his social circle and make new friends among his peers. He has started to feel more confident, particularly in physical education where he is active and enjoys playing football with other children from the center.
