Ivan and Ivanka are siblings who recently joined our center. While they are not from a Special Living and Care family, they have experienced emotional traumas due to their parents' divorce. Ivanka, the older sister, demonstrates leadership abilities and a strong sense of justice. However, within her family, she may have felt suppressed or encountered issues. She often expressed her feeling of not beinglistened to and experiencing injustice. She believed that adults always do things their way, making it pointless to listen to them. We had to employ a special approach to rebuild her trust in adults and restore her sense of justice.

Ivan, the younger sibling, craves motherly affection. We provide him with plenty of hugs, engage in simple conversations, and create a nurturing environment. He greatly benefits from encouraging words that stimulate him and foster dreams of becoming an independent individual.

After five months of daily efforts at the center, we were able to help Ivanka regain trust in adults and restore her sense of justice. Ivan has started to learn, and although his traumas are not as deep, he still requires maternal love. We continue to address deeper traumas and work towards healing while understanding the underlying causes. Recently, Ivanka mentioned her belief that it would be better if she were dead, which emphasizes the need to persist in our efforts and provide support.
