The child's story:

Name: Olena
Age: 7 years
Status: Child with special needs requiring attention and support (a child of a combatant in conflict actions)
The names are fictional, but the ages are approximate. For the protection of the children and confidentiality, we do not include photos.

During Olena's first visits to the center, she initially didn't attend for an extended period (3 days). Her mother was searching for a place where Olena could stay while she worked on resolving some document-related issues. However, once Olena joined the children's group, she quickly integrated and established herself as an authority among her peers. Olena is a strong-willed and determined girl who is sensitive to criticism, both from her peers and adults.Regarding Olena's educational achievements at the time she joined the center, she had completed the first grade and had an average level of knowledge in basic subjects. Unfortunately, due to her short time at the center, a comprehensive assessment of her educational achievements was not possible. The social worker focused on creating a friendly and warm atmosphere for Olena's stay at the center, with the primary goal of facilitating her adaptation to the new environment and the children's team. However, due to her brief period of attending the center, there was limited opportunity for extensive work with Olena.
